Applied Intelligence officially launched in early 2026 with a simple premise: small businesses in San Diego deserve access to the same AI infrastructure that large enterprises are building — without the enterprise price tag, the consulting firm overhead, or the 18-month implementation timeline.

What We’ve Learned So Far

The conversations that matter most aren’t about AI. They’re about specific problems. A plumber who loses 3 hours a week to scheduling callbacks. A dental practice that relies on one person to send appointment reminders, and that person just left. A real estate agent who has great leads but inconsistent follow-up.

The technology changes fast. The underlying problems — too much manual work, inconsistent follow-up, no time to do things the right way — don’t. Our job is to bridge those two things.

What We’re Building Toward

A world where a 5-person business has the same operational leverage as a 50-person one. Where the entrepreneur who’s great at their craft isn’t also buried in admin. Where growing a business doesn’t require growing headcount in proportion.
